The Locations tab in News Search provides a list of the "most significant" events identified for your query. The map itself is interactive, and the events on the Most Significant Events panel will update as you zoom in and out to show only the data pertinent to areas displayed on the map:
You can also click on a location to see all the events for a location as they relate to your query:
Click on the title of an event to access the corresponding events detail page.
Navigate to the Table view to see a list of locations with their corresponding events:
From within the table view, select a location to see all of the events for a location, sorted by the number of mentions:
