We’re thrilled to announce the release of the new and improved Primer interface! These updates are designed to make your experience more intuitive, efficient, and powerful. Here’s a sneak peak at what’s new:
1. Intuitive Module Renaming & Restructuring
The first thing you may notice is that we’ve restructured and renamed modules to better reflect their functionality. You’ll find it easier than ever to navigate and understand the tools you need.
Command is now Pulse
Social Lists is now Social Groups
Boolean News Search (Analyze) is now News Search
All News Search functionalities—query workspace, source lists, and digests—are now consolidated onto a single, streamlined page, simplifying your workflow.
2. Updated Home Page Featuring Ask The News
The homepage now highlights Ask The News, our enhanced semantic search engine (formerly Primer Search). This central feature powered by LLMs provides a machine generated question & answer (Q&A) response with citations to the most relevant snippets.
3. Social Groups Is Now Its Own Page
The previously named Social Lists feature is now called Social Groups and has been elevated to the main navigation bar, ensuring quicker access and seamless integration into your analysis.
Social Groups collect up to 30 days of social media data from the accounts/communities you are interested in monitoring, and allow you to search, filter and explore on within your curated groups.
4. Updated Social Media Monitor Creation Page
We've added tips for social media monitor creation along the right side of the page, to better understand how to build a comprehensive and powerful monitor:
5. Usability Enhancements
Improved Explainability: Easily manipulate and refine News Themes with clearer guidance.
Additional Enhancements: You'll notice small usability updates throughout the app, including linking to more help center content.
These changes reflect our commitment to empowering your analysis with the most user-friendly and impactful tools!
