Social Media Summaries in Pulse

Learn all about the Social Summary feature within Pulse

Primer Pulse leverages Large Language Models (LLMs) to create a summary of the social media data from your feed. Social Summary automatically aggregates and cites key information to generate easy to digest summaries.

You will find the Social Summary the social media feed on the "Feeds" page. Select the "down carrot" on the right of the Social Summary box to reveal the summary:

How Do Summaries Get Generated?

New summaries will be generated every ten minutes, or by applying any number of filters or keyword searches. A minimum of 20 posts are needed before a summary is generated. Applying a filter to your monitor will provide a social summary of only posts that match the filter you've selected.

After the initial 10 minute period that your monitor is open, Primer will generate summaries for all of the social media data that is present in your monitor. Depending on the volume of posts in your monitor, you will see multiple summaries after that initial 10 minute period.

Summary Analysis

Click on the References button to get a detailed view of the social media posts that were used as citations for the summary, or select All Input to view all of the social media posts that were analyzed to generate the summary:

Foreign Language Social Media Posts

The Social Summary model is natively multi-lingual, so it will consider all posts regardless of language to generate the summary.
