Our NLP algorithms identify all of the quotes mentioned within the documents of a query. The page is organized by the number of mentions of each quote. The quotes page includes information such as who said the quote, their affiliation, and the most recent date the quote was published.
There are multiple ways by which you can gain additional context from the Quotes page:
Find Keywords
If you are after quotes which mention a particular word or phrase, enter it into the 'Find keywords' box.
Quotes About
If you are looking for quotes about a particular person, organization or location relating to a query click on the Filters tab.
This will bring up a list of all the entities that are mentioned in the collection of quotes. Clicking on the boxes besides the entity of choice will surface quotes which mention that entity.
Mentions
Click on the mentions for a particular quote to see which publication reported the quote, and how it appears in the context of the article. It can be powerful to see how a particular publication or journalist is reporting on a quote compared to their peers.
People Detail
Click on an individual to get onto their people page, where you can gain more context about that individual. The people detail page includes a listing of all the quotes for the individual, sorted by the number of mentions.

Once you have filtered and sorted the quotes page, your results can be downloaded to an excel file.
