News Search Query Management

How to manage your news search queries, tag favorites, and create labels

For your News Search, you can access your source lists, searches, favorites, digests and categories (folders), directly from the News Search Home page:

Query Management

In the My Searches, you'll see a list of your previously run queries and you'll be able to organize them by designating favorites and creating labels or "categories" for specific topics of queries.

Favorites

To designate a specific query as a favorite, simply click the yellow star on the right side of the query. This will add a Favorite Queries section to the News Search Page.

Categories

To create a new category/folder for a topic of interest, click over to the plus icon on the left to name a new label.

Once you've given your category a name, you can assign the category to queries by clicking the three vertical dot menu (near the favorite star) - select "label as", and apply the appropriate label to the query.

Rename and Delete

To rename an existing query, click the three vertical dot menu (near the favorite star) and select rename query. Rename the query as desired, and click confirm to save the change.

To remove an old query, click the three vertical dot menu (near the favorite star) and select "delete query" to remove it.

Digests

You can also manage your digests from News Search home page. Select "My Digests" to modify your digest subscriptions:
