Deduplication
Deduplication is the process whereby the product recognizes two documents that are so similar a human analyst would describe them as duplicates. For news articles this most often occurs when an article is rebroadcast by another publication.
To view how many times a document has been duplicated, navigate to the documents tab within the Event Details page:
Please Note: the 'Total Docs' column refers to the number of unique documents after deduplication has occurred:
Sentiment
Sentiment refers to the general feeling evoked by the language present in the title of the respective event. Please note Primer does not calculate the attitude of the author of a particular document in relation to the chosen query.

You can sort events by sentiment type from the events feed:

Significance
Significance is a score intended to signal the importance of an event. Significance considers the centrality of the search terms in the documents returned that form the event, the publication quality, the numbers of publications reporting on an event, and article length, among other factors.
You can interact with our Significance calculation in a number of ways:
Adjust the number of events you see in the Events Feed by adjusting the Significance slider. For broader topics with a large volume of results, adjust the slider to a higher level of significance to show fewer events in the feed:
While on the Feed page, you have the option to sort events by Significance. The default sorting option is Recency, but you can adjust the "sort by" section to show most Significant events first:
When navigating to the table view on the Feed page, you also have the option to sort results by Significance:
